Andrea DeGreiff-Beisser began her musical studies at The Conservatory of Music in Bogota, Colombia. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance at the University of Nebraska-Kearney and Masters of Music in Piano Collaborative at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
A member of the Piano Faculty at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music since 2002 and currently a member of the Board of Directors, she has also taught in childhood piano education programs at both the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Carroll University. She is an active member of the Wisconsin Music Teachers’ Association as well as a frequent adjudicator of piano festivals, auditions and competitions.
Mrs. DeGreiff-Beisser debuted with the Orchestra of the Conservatory of Music in Bogota at the age of 13 as the first prize winner of the Concerto Competition. As a recitalist, has appeared at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, at The Biblioteca Luis Angel Arango Concert Hall and the Olav Roots Auditorium in Bogota, Colombia. Has also appeared at several opera productions with both the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and University of Nebraska-Kearney. She is an active performer collaborating in several voice faculty and instrumental recitals at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. Her previous teachers include Harold Martina, Blanca Uribe, James Cook, Jeffrey Peterson, Katja Phillabaum and Judit Jaimes.
