In December, we announced the approaching bi-annual Seattle International Piano Festival & Competition, with an application deadline of May 15, 2015. Details are currently on the website about procedures as well as the electronic application form.
We are excited to announce the dates of the SIPF. The international festival, which hosts not only master classes and guest artists, features the final live round of the Seattle International Piano Competition. These events span October 16 to 19, 2015, all taking place at Benaroya Hall.
Mark your calendars for this anticipated event. The festival features a similar format to 2013, with master classes featuring the competitors and jurors framing the weekend on Friday and Monday, and the competitive events taking place on Saturday and Sunday. Monday evening, October 19 will close with winners of the 2015 competition.
